2 cans sauerkraut, undrained
5 or 6 potatoes, peeled and cut into large chunks
1 cup water
1 pound Polish sausage, cut into chunks
1 teaspoon caraway seeds
1 bay leaf
1/4 teaspoon pepper
Place sauerkraut and potatoes in slow cooker. Add spices and water. Place sausage on top. Cook 4 hours on high or about 6 hours on low or until potatoes are tender.
