Texas Christmas Dip
Ingredients
16 ounces cream cheese, softened to room temperature
½ cup mayonnaise
½ teaspoon garlic powder
½ teaspoon onion powder
½ teaspoon salt
⅓ cup tamed jalapeños, drained and finely chopped
⅓ cup roasted red peppers, drained and finely chopped
1 cup shredded white cheddar cheese
Instructions:
- Blend the Base
In a medium mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese and mayonnaise together until the mixture becomes smooth, creamy, and fully combined.
- Season the Mixture
Sprinkle in the garlic powder, onion powder, and salt.
Stir well to evenly distribute the seasonings throughout the creamy base.
- Add the Peppers and Cheese
Fold in the chopped tamed jalapeños, chopped roasted red peppers, and shredded white cheddar cheese.
Mix until all the ingredients are thoroughly incorporated and the dip looks evenly speckled with peppers.
4. Chill to Set the Flavors
Cover the bowl and refrigerate the dip for about 30 minutes.
This resting time allows the flavors to meld and the texture to firm slightly.
- Serve
Once chilled, give the dip a quick stir and transfer it to a serving bowl.
Serve with crackers, pretzels, tortilla chips, or crisp veggie sticks.
