- 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
Instructions
1. Prepare the Crust
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Line a 9×13-inch baking pan with parchment paper, leaving some overhang for easy removal.

- Press the mixture evenly into the bottom of the prepared pan.
- Bake for 15–18 minutes, or until lightly golden around the edges.
2. Make the Chocolate Pecan Filling

4. Slice and Serve
- Use the parchment paper overhang to lift the bars out of the pan.

- Serve at room temperature or slightly chilled.
Tips for the Best Chocolate Pecan Pie Bars
- Toast the pecans: Lightly toasting the pecans before adding them brings out their delicious nutty flavor.
- Use parchment paper: This makes removing and slicing the bars much easier.
- Let them cool completely: Cooling helps the filling set properly and gives you clean slices.
- Choose your chocolate: Semi-sweet chocolate chips balance the sweetness of the filling, but dark chocolate also works beautifully.
- Store properly: Keep the bars in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 4 days.
Enjoy these rich, gooey, chocolatey pecan pie bars! ❤️
