A favorite in my house! These biscuits are perfect for a small group or a big crowd, plus they’re such a companion to any meal…you enjoy either for breakfast, lunch or dinner. Mmmm, my weakness with raspberry jam !!

- All-purpose flour: 2 1/2 cups
- Buttermilk: 2 cups
- Butter: 1 stick
- Baking powder: 4 tsp
- Sugar: 4 tsp
- Salt: 2 tsp
LET’S MAKE IT :
- Before you start, set the temperature of your oven to 450 degrees.
- Then, you’re going to get a medium sized bowl and combine in all of the dry ingredients.
- You’ll want to add the buttermilk, mixing everything together until a moist dough is formed.
- The butter should be melt in a microwave safe bowl. Immediately pour it into an 8×8 or 9×9 baking dish. Always remember that so the butter doesn’t drip out of the pan while it’s baking, your pan shouldn’t be too small or shallow.
- Alright now, be sure to place the dough right on top of the melted butter. Evenly spread across the pan with a spatula until it touches the sides.
- And please cut the unbaked dough (it should be swimming in butter at this point) into 9 evenish squares.
- Finally, bake until golden brown on top, it takes around 20 to 25 minutes.
