OMG, light and so so good !! This pretty easy yeast roll recipe was given to me by my Great, Great Grandmother and makes some really delicious yeast rolls, just give it a go !!
TO MAKE THIS RECIPE YOU’LL NEED THE FOLLOWING INGREDIENTS :
° Flour: 500 g
° Sugar: 50 g
° Salt: 1 teaspoon
° Oil: 10 cl
° Milk: 25 cl
° Egg: 1 (large)
° Baker’s yeast: 1 packet (you can also use 20 g of fresh yeast)
*Total time about 2 h / Preparation about 1h50 / Cooking about 10 min
STEPS TO MAKE IT :
STEP 1 :
In a large bowl, put all the ingredients and knead the dough well until it comes off the bowl.
STEP 2 :
Using a cloth and a small blanket, cover the bowl and let rise for about 60 minutes.
STEP 3 :
Degass the dough as soon as it has risen (use your fist and press it a good blow on it to evacuate the air). And please form rolls of 60 g each.
STEP 4 :
Make sure to shape the dough as you wish. Always remember to leave to rest for about half an hour.
STEP 5 :
You’ll want to preheat the oven to 180 ° C .
STEP 6 :
After that, brush with egg yolk. Finally, bake for 10 to 15 minutes in the oven at 180 ° C.
