Slow Cooker Pineapple Chicken


2 ½ lbs boneless skinless chicken thighs
20oz can canned pineapple
⅓ C packed brown sugar
⅓ C soy sauce
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon onion powder
½ teaspoon salt
½ teaspoon ground black pepper
3 tablespoons cornstarch
3 tablespoons water


In your slow cooker, add chicken, brown sugar, soy sauce, crushed pineapple, salt, and pepper.
Mix together.
Set slow cooker high 4 hours.
Turn off.
Take out chicken and set aside.
Make a slurry whisking cornstarch and water together in a bowl.
Add to slow cooker and whisk to combine. (If you want your sauce thicker, add more by combining equal parts water and cornstarch, a little at a time.)
Return chicken to slow cooker.
