SNICKERS CARAMEL APPLE SALAD

Kids love this traditional, sweet, and creamy apple-based salad dessert. You now have more options for how to use your apples thanks to this recipe made with lots of milk, Snickers bars, and dripping caramel sauce.

Finding uses for apples can be challenging when they are so plentiful in the fall. Everyone enjoys apples, especially children, but eating only plain apples all the time can get boring. The delicious snickers caramel apple salad is the epitome of fun, even though you could make apple pie, cake, fritters, etc. This combination of milk, Snickers bars, and apples has to be made in heaven.

It may be called a salad, but this really isn’t a salad, it’s actually a dessert, though my kids happily justify themselves as having eaten salads whenever they take this. The best part about this heavenly mix is that it’s quite simple to prepare, the ingredients are inexpensive and just a few.

However, you would have to spend some time waiting for this to chill in the refrigerator before you’re ready to dig in.

If you’re looking for the best way to give yourself and your kids a treat, then this is your best bet

How to prepare

Step 1: Whisk milk and pudding mix together in a mixing bowl for about a minute, set aside to thicken for another 2-3 minutes.

Tips and variations:

•If you have nut allergies, you can use Twix or another nut-free candy bar instead.
•Add the apples immediately they are chopped to prevent them from browning before adding to the salad.
•You can drizzle extra caramel sauce on top to garnish.
