Ingredients
4 large chicken breasts, skinless and boneless
6 strips of bacon, cooked and crumbled
2 cans cream of chicken soup
2 cups Cheddar Jack cheese
16 ounces spiral pasta
1 tbsp garlic powder
Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
FIRST STEP:
Cook the bacon
While bacon is cooking, dice the chicken into bite sized pieces
SECOND STEP:
Drain and crumble the bacon
Cook the chicken in the same pan as the bacon, using the bacon drippings
THIRD STEP:
While the chicken is cooking, prepare the pasta according to package directions
Preheat the oven to 400*
FOURTH STEP:
Spray a 9×13 baking pan with nonstick spray
Drain the pasta and return it to the pot
FIFTH STEP:
Add the chicken, the cream of chicken soup and half of the cheese
Stir to combine well
SIXTH STEP:
Pour this into the prepared baking pan
Top with the crumbled bacon and the remaining cheese
SEVENTH STEP:
Bake at 400* for 20 minutes, just until the cheese begins to brown and bubble.
Let sit for 5 minutes, then serve
