Tandoori Salmon will be one of your family’s favorite meals. You can make it for dinner any night of the week and its quick, easy and tastes incredible making it a healthy and filling meal. You will love how bold the fishy flavors are when cooked with the slightly milder flavors from the Indian spices.
4 thick salmon steak
Salt and pepper to taste
5 tablespoons plain yogurt
Juice of 2 limes
5 cloves garlic smashed into a paste
1 small bunch of chopped coriander leaves
1 inch ginger smashed into a paste
1 tablespoon cumin powder
1 – 2 tablespoons tandoori masala
1 – 3 red chillies finely chopped
Marinate the cubed salmon…..get a container with a lid and add the lemon juice, olive oil and tandoori seasoning. Add the salmon and mix to coat all the pieces. Place in the fridge for at least 30 mins
Preheat the oven to 220°c. Line a baking tray with parchment paper. Thread the salmon onto the skewers and spread leaving a gap between each piece so they cook evenly.
Place the skewers on the parchment lined baking tray and place in the oven and bake for 8-10 mins or until the fish flakes easily. Serve on a bed of rice
