This cheese taco dish is ready in no time and it’s a family favorite! Perfect for a taco night!
If your family enjoys Taco Night, this dish is a must-have. It’s just like “Walking Tacos”, but it’s an all-in-one dish, so it’s a little easier. My kids loved the cheese layer and we all loved adding our favorite topping. You can add ketchup, fresh cream, tomato, onion, avocado, hot pepper, etc.
- Ingredients :
° 1 pound ground meat
° 1 packet of taco seasoning
° 2/3 cup water
° Fritos Chili Cheese
° Half a box of cheddar cheese soup
° A quarter cup of milk
° 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- Directions :
1.) Roast beef or turkey over medium-high heat until the pink color disappears. Strain the fat and add the taco seasoning and water.
2.) Cook on low heat for about 5 minutes, or until the liquid is absorbed and the meat is coated well with spices.
3.) Arrange the cheese hot pepper fritos at the bottom of an 8×8 baking dish. Place the marinated meat on top of the fritos.
4.) In a saucepan, heat the cheddar cheese and milk soup over low heat. Once it warms up, pour the cheese mixture over the meat.
5.) Sprinkle the mozzarella cheese evenly on the cheese and place the tray in the preheated oven, 350, for 12-14 minutes. Take out the pot from the oven and pour the desired amount on the plate.
