°3/4 cup granulated sugar
°1/2 cup milk
°1/2 cup oil
°1 large egg
°1 teaspoon vanilla extract or almond extract
°2 cups all-purpose flour
°2 teaspoons baking powder
°1/4 teaspoon salt
°2 cups strawberry cut into cubes
°2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
°2 cups powdered sugar
°2 tablespoons melted butter
°1/3 cup finely chopped strawberries
°1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract or almond extract
°1-2 tablespoons heavy cream or milk** (optional)
- Directions :
Heat oven to 350 degrees.
In a medium bowl, mix together sugar, milk, oil, eggs, and vanilla. In detach bowl, blend flour, baking powder / salt.
Adding dried ingredients to wet ingredients also stir to mixed .
In a small bowl, combine strawberries and 2 tablespoons flour to coat strawberries. Gently fold the floured strawberries into the mixture.
Pour the bread dough into a greased 9 x 5 cm baking tray. Bake at 350 degrees for 50-55 minutes.
Permit bread to cool for 10 min, then removing the bread to wire rack to cool totally.
To making glaze, mix jointly powder sugar, melt butter, also slice strawberries also extract to small bowl. Mix until smooth.
Once the bread has cooled, spread the glaze over the bread. Cut it into slices and serve.
