Tomato and beef macaroni soup

This hearty soup can be made with leftover or fresh ground beef, cooked with tender veggies!


Pound lean ground beef

Half a cup of ketchup

2 large cans chopped tomatoes

2 tsp Worcestershire sauce

2 tsp onion powder

3 tsp minced garlic

7 1/2 cups beef broth

2 tsp brown sugar

1 tsp Italian seasoning

Salt and pepper to taste

2 cups dry pastaCheese, for garnish

In a large Dutch oven or stockpot, add ground beef, garlic, and onion powder. Add broth, tomatoes, Worcestershire sauce, brown sugar, Italian seasoning and ketchup

Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce the heat and simmer for 10 minutes Add the dry pasta and leave for an additional 15 minutes Top with shredded cheese of your choice.
