  1. Prepare the cheesecake layer first. This can be done early in the day, or the night before. If freezing the cheesecake, can be stored 1-2 weeks in the freezer.
  2. Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Using a large roasting pan, add 1 inch of water to the pan. Place it on the lower 2/3 of the oven! Allow it to preheat in the oven.
  3. Prepare 9-inch springform pan by wrapping bottom of pan (outside) with double layer of foil. Line bottom (inside) with a circle of parchment paper.
  4. Beat cream cheese with granulated sugar for 2-3 minutes until creamy. Add in salt and eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition.
  5. Beat in sour cream and heavy cream, until light and fluffy (about 2 minutes). Pour into prepared 9-inch springform pan. Place pan in center of preheated roasting pan in the oven, making sure to be careful not to spill water.
  6. Bake cheesecake for 45 minutes. Turn oven off and let cheesecake sit in oven for an additional 30 minutes. Remove and cool completely on counter.
  7. When cooled, remove outside portion of the springform pan and place into the freezer for several hours or overnight. I put it in freezer for about 2 hours. If using within 24 hours, feel free to just refrigerate cheesecake!

I love this Turtle Cake recipe. I’ve had many and this one is moist and full of chocolately goodness. A little bit goes a long way. It’s great for a crowd. You’ll Love It! <3 


1 cup chocolate chips
2 cups pecans
3/4 cup melted butter
1/2 cup evaporated milk
1 (14 ounce) bags caramels
1 1/3 cups water ( or as called for by your cake mix)
1/3 cup oil ( or as called for by your cake mix)
3 eggs ( or as called for by your cake mix)
1 (18 ounce) boxes German chocolate cake mix

How to make it :
Prepare cake mix as directed.
Pour 1/2 of the batter in a 13×9 inch pan.
Bake at 350 for 15 minutes.
Remove and let cool.
In a double boiler, add caramels, milk, and butter and stir constantly till melted.
Pour melted caramel over cooling cake.
Sprinkle on top 1 cup of pecans& chocolate chips.
Pour remaining batter on top and bake for an additional 20 minutes.



3-4 boneless chicken breasts
1 10oz can cream of chicken soup
1 10 oz can cheddar soup
1 14 oz can chicken broth
½ teaspoon salt
¼ teaspoon garlic salt seasoning
1 cup sour cream
6 cups broccoli florets, just fork tender (cook it in boiling water for 3-4 minutes)
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

  1. Place soups, chicken broth, salt, and garlic seasoning into a crock-pot over low heat. Whisk until smooth. Place chicken in, pressing to the bottom. Cover lid and cook on low for 6 hours or on high for 3 hours.
  2. When chicken is cooked, use 2 forks to shred into bite size pieces. Stir in sour cream and broccoli.
  3. Serve over steamed rice and sprinkle with cheese. 4-6 servings.


Here is one of my favorite side dishes to take on summer barbecues. These brown sugar baked beans with bacon are not easy. The kind of ease that seriously simplifies your day. It’s so delicious that I always do more. Because running out of those sweet beans would be annoying.

Everyone loves these delicious and sweet baked beans. They’ll think you’ve been worshiping in the kitchen all day, soaking and cooking those beans. Not aware that this bowl of beans took about 3 minutes to assemble (yes, assemble) and quite a bit of time in the oven. Let’s not tell them the secret.

This perfect barbecue side dish is made with canned beans, brown sugar, and real enough bacon to give it an extra flavorful factor. This bean dish is my favorite side, as it is sweet, salty, and slightly smoky at the same time. It’s the perfect companion for burgers, more burgers, chicken, or whatever you like. It’s great alongside a super easy and tasty potato salad.

  • To make it you will need the following components:

These are Super soft, chewy, and studded with chocolate!! Whenever I’m craving something thick, but not too thick, soft but still have buttery, crisp edges, plus have the perfect balance of salty/sweet, I try this incredible chocolate chip cookie!!


☞ Flour: 2 cups

☞ Baking soda: 1/2 small spoon

☞ Salt: A pinch

☞ Unsalted butter: 3/4 cup (melted)

☞ Brown sugar: 1 cup packed

☞ Sugar: 2 large spoon tablespoon

☞ Egg: 1

☞ Egg yolk: 1

☞ Milk or dark chocolate: 7 oz (coarsely chopped)


  1. To start with, combine together the flour, baking soda and salt in a bowl.
  2. Using a wooden spoon, mix the butter with the brown sugar and the sugar in another bowl. And please add the egg and egg yolk.
